Another Hausa Man: Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu Emerges As The New PDP Chairman

58-year-old former Bauchi State Governor, Adamu Mu'azu has been chosen as the new National Chairman of the PDP. He was reportedly unanimously adopted on Sunday night Jan. 18th at a meeting attended by president Jonathan, VP Namadi Sambo, Chairman of the party's Board of Trustees, Chief Tony Anenih; Senate President David Mark and all the state Governors elected under the PDP, amongst others. He is set to be formally unveiled today. Congrats!

"Most Politicians Have No Business In Politics" - President Goodluck Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday said over 50 per cent of politicians, are not supposed to be in politics. He said most of them opted to become politicians because they lacked any other thing they could lay their hands upon to do. Jonathan made the observation in a short message he delivered during the first Sunday service of the year, held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The service also featured a thanksgiving by the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission for the success of the 2013 pilgrimage to Israel, which the President participated in. Jonathan made the observation just as the Anglican Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Revd. Nicholas Okoh, urged him not to give up but continue to persevere until he leads the nation to the promised land.

The President likened politics to professions, such as nursing and teaching, which should ordinarily not accommodate wicked people. However, he regretted that those under such categories had found their ways into the nation's politics. He said, "Politics is just like some kinds of trade. More than 50 per cent of us, who are into politics, are not supposed to be politicians.

"For example, in the professions of nursing and teaching, people with wicked hearts and unforgiving spirits are not the kind of people who should be nurses or teachers, but we find them there.

Do you agree with him?

10.8billion Dollars missing from NNPC - The Gays must have done it !

It is with a deep sadness but certainty we regret to announce that the draconian laws put on any Gay Associations by the Nigerian Govt was to make sure The missing 10.8 billion Dollars Homosexuals have been using to pursue their clandestine acts be recovered .
Gay Definition:  "A gay person is anyone that is Happy" Therefore the poor people in Nigeria are not Happy so they cant be gay .Who are the Gay people in Nigeria ? The Rich People ! and who are the Rich People ? Those in Aso Rock  !
Report Below was culled from Facebook
$10.8b--->TEN-POINT-EIGHT-BILLION-DOLLARS IS "MISSING" AND WHAT SEEMS TO MATTER MOST TO NIGERIANS IS THE GAY SAGA.
________________________________________________

Dear EPfers I am here again with my regular update of "see-something-say-something"...

FACTS:

--->Sanusi and Iweala both agreed that $10.8 Billion Dollars was the FINAL amount unaccounted for.

--->NNPC claimed, last week, that the missing $10.8 billion was spent on oil subsidy payments, repairs of vandalized oil pipeline facilities and operational costs.
________________________________________________

PERTINENT QUESTIONS:

1. How on earth (even in hell!) is it possible for a federal government parastatal to spend TEN-POINT-EIGHT-BILLION-DOLLARS out of the box WITHOUT a RIGOROUS authorisation process from the FEC, NASS etc...?

2. Why did Okonjo-Iweala REFUSE to sign off breakdown of the "missing" amount?

3. Why aren't there reforms till date to prevent NNPC from being the "intermediary" in the payment of crude oil funds to the federal account?
________________________________________________

CONLUSION:

I just want to remind you all that a well managed TEN-BILLION-DOLLARS is capable of taking approximately 20million Nigerians out of ABJECT POVERTY.

The current official poverty rate stands at 64.2%--->More than 100Million Nigerians survive with less than $1.25 per day!

Lets unanimously demand for reforms, to prevent this broad daylight public funds mismanagement (don't just want to say STEALING).
Wey our money O "Gay" people !

BREAKING NEWS: Cristiano has been named as the winner of the FIFA Ballon d’or

Ronaldo: “I’m very happy. It’s very difficult to win this award. Thank you to everybody who has been involved.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the 2013 Ballon d’Or winner by FIFA ahead of Lionel Messi and Franck Ribery.

A bumper year for Ronaldo saw him scoop football’s most prestigious individual award at FIFA’s gala evening in Zurich. The Real Madrid winger was heavy favourite prior to the announcement on Monday, having scored 66 goals in 56 games for club and country throughout the year as well as sealing 2014 World Cup qualification for Portugal by scoring a brilliant hat-trick against Sweden in their play-off match.

Messi missed the last six weeks of the year through injury but had scored 42 goals in 45 appearances for Barcelona and Argentina as well as winning La Liga and the Copa del Rey. Ribery enjoyed a treble-winning season with Bayern Munich, completing the Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League trio and also helped France qualify for the World Cup.

Pele, who opened the golden envelope to announce Ronaldo as World Player of the Year, earlier won the first ever Ballon d’Or Prix d’Honneur award.

Elsewhere, Former Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes was presented with the Coach of the Year award by England manager Roy Hodgson, beating Jurgen Klopp and Sir Alex Ferguson to the trophy. Heynckes guided Bayern to a 2013 treble including Champions League triumph over rivals Borussia Dortmund.

All three Ballon d’Or nominees were included in the FIFPRO World XI, otherwise known as the team of the year. No Premier League players featured for the second successive year, but the Bundesliga and Ligue One had players included for the first time in the award’s history.

The team was made up of Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich and Germany) as goalkeeper while Dani Alves (Barcelona and Brazil), Philipp Lahm (Bayern Munich and Germany), Thiago Silva (Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil) and Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid and Spain) made up the defence.

Xavi (Barcelona and Spain), Andres Iniesta (Barcelona and Spain) and Ribery (Bayern Munich and France) were named in midfield with Ronaldo (Real Madrid and Portugal), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain and Sweden) and Messi (Barcelona and Argentina) completing the line-up.

Elsewhere, former International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge picked up the Presidential Award, while Germany coach Silvia Neid was named Women’s Coach of the Year.

Ibrahimovic collected the Ferenc Puskas award – given to the player who scored the best goal of 2013 – for his 40-yard overhead kick against England. Afghanistan was given the Fair Play award and Germany goalkeeper Nadine Angerer was named Women’s World Player of the Year.

well deserved, can’t remember seeing a more complete player and a freak of an athlete in any other sport.. well done CR7..

Messi valued at eye-watering £331m, three times more than his rival Ronaldo!

Lionel Messi has been valued at a staggering €400million (£331m) – almost three times more than his great rival Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to a study commissioned by three leading European clubs, the Barcelona forward’s value far exceeds his buy-out clause of €250m (£200m).

And Paris Saint-Germain – who are owned by the Qatar Investment Authority – are reportedly ready to pay the eye-watering fee for the Argentina international.

Professor Gerardo Molina, who wrote the report, said: ‘There is a club that is practically sponsored by a government [reported to be PSG] that would be prepared to pay €400 m for Leo Messi.

‘There are three European clubs that asked us to come up with this study in order to find out how much Messi was worth. We cannot say who the clubs are. The clubs wanted to analyse the viability of a possible transfer for Messi.

According to the study, Ronaldo is worth between €150-160m (£124-130m).

Molina added: ‘Messi is five times more marketable than Cristiano Ronaldo. According to studies, Ronaldo is worth between €150 and 160m. Messi’s buy-out clause is €250m, we believe that figure is obsolete and devalued.

‘Right now there is no player in the world of sport that has a greater value than Leo Messi. According to market research in the last five years, Messi is worth €400m.’

Messi will fight it out with Ronaldo and Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery for the Ballon d’Or on January 13.
